Georg Mickler

Alfred Georg Mickler ( born September 7, 1892 in Charlottenburg, † June 14, 1915 in Tarnowski, Galicia ) was a German track and field athlete and Olympian, who established the first German to an athletics world record in a single discipline: On 22 June 1913 he scored in Hanover in the 1000 -meter run, a time of 2:32,6 min.

He also started at the Olympic Games 1912 in the 1500 -meter run and the 3000 -meter team running and different from each in the flow.

Georg Mickler was a member of the sports club SC Charlottenburg.
