George Adamski

George Adamski ( born April 17, 1891 † February 26, 1965 ) was an American science fiction writer and ufologist Polish origin.

Ufologist

Adamski was one of the first people who claim publicly to have UFO's seen and photographed and to be discovered aliens and even flown with them. Adamski and others who shared such allegations were referred to as contactees. He wrote several books about his claims. Among others reached the bestsellers' ranks, such as Flying Saucers land (1953 ), which he wrote with Desmond Leslie. Today, his work is largely regarded as fictitious. Science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke mentioned in his novel 3001 - The last odyssey that ufologists suffering from Adamski 's disease.

Visit with Queen Juliana

On May 18, 1959 visited Adamski Queen Juliana on her invitation to report on his alleged visit of Venus and encountering the Venus residents ( Venusians ). This meant that the reputation of the Queen was drawn into bad light, three years after the Greet Hofman affair.
