George Clapp Vaillant

George Clapp Vaillant ( born April 5, 1901 in Boston, Massachusetts, † May 13 1945 in Devon, Pennsylvania) was an American anthropologist.

His work The Aztecs. Origin, rise and fall of the Mexican people was completed in 1944. His work Indian Arts in North America ( The Art of North American Indians) was published in 1939. He also wrote several monographs on excavations in Central America.
