George Dunlop Leslie
George Dunlop Leslie ( born July 2, 1835 in London, † February 21, 1921 in Lindfield ( Sussex ) ) was an English painter and illustrator.
Life and work
Leslie, son of Charles Robert Leslie, was initially a pupil of his father, then moved into the Academy in 1854 and introduced in 1857 with the success his first picture of Hope, where a large number of other followed, in the compound of the landscape with the figures, a deep sense and show great grace, but in color are often soft and blurry.
