George Finnegan

George V. Finnegan (* September 1881 in California, † February 28, 1913 in San Francisco ) was an American boxer.

Finnegan took part in the Olympic Games in 1904 and won two medals. First, he took part in the struggles of the flyweight class and won the gold medal. In the following days, he gained weight and was admitted to the struggles of the bantamweight class where he won the silver medal. He lost the final battle against Oliver Kirk. Finnegan is one of only four boxers to ever have won medals in different weight classes.
