George James Cole, Baron Cole

George James Cole, Baron Cole, of Blackfriars in the County of London GBE (* February 3, 1906, † 29 November 1979) was a native of Australia British entrepreneur, business manager and politician who in 1965 as a Life Peer because of the Life peerages Act 1958 Member of the House of Lords was.

Life

Cole, who worked as an entrepreneur and business manager, was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire, which he henceforth the additional name "Sir" led.

He was given a Letters Patent of March 24, 1965 due to the Life peerages Act as a life peer with the title Baron Cole, of Blackfriars raised in the County of London in the peerage, and thus belonged to his death in the House of Lords as a member. On April 14, 1965 his Introduction ( Introduction) followed in the House of Lords.
