George Kollias (drummer)
George Kollias (Greek Γιώργος Κόλλιας; * August 1977 in Corinth ) is a Greek musician, he is currently one of the fastest drummers in the world. He is known for his extremely precise and fast " Swivel Technique", one based on the Heel -toe technique blast beat and double bass technique in which both feet are running a special rotary motion which allows to perform a pedaling two Beater Beats. This game speeds are achieved up to 300 bpm. Another trademark Kollias ' it, extremely fast to play with only one foot ("One - Foot - blasting" ) is. Since 2004 he plays in the American death metal band Nile. With the band, he has so far recorded four studio albums.
