George Langelaan

George Langelaan ( born January 19, 1908 in Paris, † February 9, 1972 ) was a British writer and journalist.

Intelligence

The son of an Englishman and a Frenchwoman was a secret agent of MI5 during World War II (codenamed Pompadour ).

Artistic creation

After the war Langelaan was best known as the author of SF novels and short stories. Some of his ideas and works have been several times very successfully filmed by various filmmakers and thus gained worldwide fame and significance in film history.
