George Lott
George Martin Lott Jr. ( born October 16, 1906 in Springfield, Illinois; † 2 December 1991 in Chicago, Illinois) was an American tennis player.
Biography
Lott won in his playing career five times the U.S. (1928-1930, 1933, 1934) and once the French Championships (1931 ) and two titles at Wimbledon (1931, 1934) in men's doubles. These three titles are used in the American championships (1929, 1931, 1934) and a title at Wimbledon (1931 ) in mixed doubles.
He played 22 games for the U.S. Davis Cup team and won 18 matches for itself. In 1964, the induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
