George Parros

George James Parros ( born December 29, 1979 in Washington, Pennsylvania) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since July 2013 when the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.96 m tall striker first played from 1996 to 1998 in the U.S. state of New Jersey for the high school team in the Delbarton Green Wave, in the high school league system of the United States. The 1998/99 season spent the right winger in Chicago Freeze in the North American Hockey League. Following Parros went four seasons for Hockey Team Princeton University with league play in the National Collegiate Athletic Association on the ice. During this time, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1999 in the eighth round at position 222 of the Los Angeles Kings.

After finishing college Parros was added to the roster of the Manchester Monarchs, a farm team of the Kings in the American Hockey League. For the Monarchs played the right shooter until the end of the season 2004/05.
