George Watters II

George Watters II is an American sound engineer who won the Oscar for best sound effects twice.

Life

1973 Watters began his career at Paramount Pictures, where he first worked on television shows before moving to films. In 1978, he worked in the film American Hot Wax for the first time as a Supervising Sound Editor. In 1992 he left Paramount and worked subsequently at Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox and Walt Disney Studios.

The main focus he is working with producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

Watters is married and has two daughters.
