Georges Bach

Georges Bach ( born June 12, 1955 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgian politician. Since 2009 Bach member of the European Parliament.

Life

After leaving school, and the Technical High School in 1973 Bach was employed as a clerk in the steel industry and from 1974 to 2009 with the Luxembourg National Railways SNCFL. Furthermore, he was Secretary General from 1998 to 2002 and chairman from 2002 to 2009 at the Christian railway union in Luxembourg. Bach is involved in politics and since 2009 for the Christian Social Party (CSV ) as a member of the European Parliament.
