Georges Buchard

Georges Buchard ( born December 21, 1893 in Harfleur, † 22 January 1987 ) was a French epee fencer. He won two gold medals with the team in the Olympics.

Buchard took part in Paris at the Summer Olympic Games in 1924. He was seventh in singles and won the gold medal with the team. In the Summer Olympics 1928 in Amsterdam Buchard took both with the team and the individual silver medal. In Los Angeles, at the Olympic Summer Games in 1932, was again Buchard Olympic gold medalist with the team. In individual he could defend his silver medal from the last Olympics. At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin Buchard started only with the team and won bronze.
