Georges Capdeville

Pierre Georges Louis Capdeville ( born October 30, 1899 in Bordeaux, † 24 February 1991) was a French football referee and official of the association.

For FIFA referee Capdeville was 1936. During the Football World Cup 1938, he led the final between Italy and Hungary. He was also employed in this tournament in the quarter -final replay between Brazil and Czechoslovakia. Two years earlier he had for the first time in 1935/36 passed the final of the Coupe de France. Two further lines of cup finals: 1942 and 1945.

After ending his playing days as Impartial he worked in various capacities for the French Football Federation; among other things, he was from 1966 to 1975 president of the regional FFF breakdown of his home, the Ligue d' Aquitaine.
