Georges Chamarat
Georges Chamarat ( born March 30, 1901 in Paris, † November 21, 1982 ) was a French actor.
Life and work
Chamarat attended the Conservatoire de Paris, where he graduated in 1929 with the first prize. From 1929 to 1945 he was a member of the ensemble of the Théâtre National de l' Odéon, then he joined the Comédie- Française, whose member he remained until his death.
The film won for Chamarat only since the late 1930s meaning. Most, he embodied average, weak and arrogant personalities. Since 1948 he also worked as a drama teacher, first at the Centre d'art dramatique and then from 1959 to 1972 at the Conservatoire National d'Art dramatique.
