Georges Cottier

Georges Marie Martin Cardinal Cottier, OP ( born April 25, 1922 in Celigny, Switzerland ) is cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Dominican Order.

Life

Georges Cottier occurred in 1945 in the Dominican Order one, studied in Fribourg and Rome philosophy and Catholic theology in 1951, and received the sacrament of Holy Orders. He was professor of contemporary philosophy at the University of Geneva and Professor of Systematic Philosophy at the University of Fribourg.
