Georges Pintens
Georges Pintens (* October 15, 1946 in Antwerp ) is a former Belgian cyclist.
Pintens was 1968-1976 professional cyclist. Even as an amateur, he was able to celebrate important achievements. So he won the classic Paris -Roubaix in the U23 championship. As a professional, he won many important one-day race for themselves. With the victory at Liege -Bastogne- Liege he managed a victory in one of the five monuments of cycling. Even with tours he won several stages and was able to triumph so well in the Tour de Suisse and the Ruta del Sol.
