Georgi Hristov (footballer born 1985)

Georgi Georgie Christow ( Bulgarian Георги Христов, English transcription. Georgi Hristov; born January 10, 1985 in Plovdiv ) is a Bulgarian football player, who plays for the Tampa Bay Rowdies since 2013. His position is the storm.

Career

Christow began his career at Maritsa Plovdiv. Between 2002 and 2007 he played 110 league games for the club. After scorer in the B- Grupa he was in season 2006/ 07 he moved to the 2007/08 season Botev Plovdiv to. There, he scored 19 goals in 30 games in A Grupa and became Bulgarian scorer. In 2008 he moved to Levski Sofia, where he immediately became Bulgarian champion and Supercup winner.

After another fall season in Sofia Christow changed in January 2010 on loan to Poland Wisla Krakow. There he could not prevail, and returned in June 2010 back to Sofia. Originally Krakow wanted to borrow it until the end of the year.

August 31, 2010 Christow moved to city rivals Slavia Sofia. In 2011 he was loaned to the Israeli club FC Ashdod. Then he moved in 2012 after Lokomotiv Sofia.

On March 8, 2013, the Bulgarian signed a two -year contract with the U.S. soccer franchise Tampa Bay Rowdies. With 12 goals in 22 games, he became the most successful season in 2013 scorer of the team.
