Georgij A. Krasinsky

Georgi Albertovich Krassinski (Russian Георгий Альбертович Красинский; born February 19, 1939 in Leningrad † 17 March 2011) was a Russian physicist and astronomer.

Professor Dr. Krassinski worked at the Institute of Applied Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg. Krassinski was the Commission 4 2003-2006 President for ephemerides of the International Astronomical Union (IAU ). After Krassinski the asteroid ( 5714 ) Krasinsky was named.
