Georginio Wijnaldum

Wijnaldum (2007)

Georginio Gregion Emile Wijnaldum ( born November 11, 1990 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch footballer who is at PSV Eindhoven under contract. He is a midfielder.

Career

From 1997 to 2004 played Wijnaldum in the youth of Sparta Rotterdam before he joined city rivals Feyenoord. In the season 2006/ 07 Wijnaldum had in the game against FC Groningen even as B -teenager his first appearance in the Dutch Eredivisie. With his 16 years and 148 days he is the youngest Premiership debutant in the history of Feyenoord.

At Feyenoord, he stood for the 2007/2008 season in the first team and wore the jersey number 25 since his debut he made for Feyenoord 110 league matches and scored 22 goals in it; in the season 2010/11 he came in all games of the season are used.

For the 2011/12 season the 20 -year-old graduated from a four-year contract with PSV Eindhoven.

National

On September 2, 2011, Wijnaldum his debut in the national team. He came off the bench against San Marino in the 86th minute for his PSV teammate Kevin Strootman; Three minutes later he scored the last goal for the 11-0 record victory of Dutch.

Private

Wijnaldum is the son of a Dutch woman and a Ghanaian. He was born as Georginio Boateng, but took after the divorce of his parents at his mother's name. His younger brother Giliano plays for AZ Alkmaar.
