Georgios Balakakis

Georgios Balakakis (Greek Georgios Γέωργιος Βαλακάκης Valakakis ) was a Greek fencer, who participated in the 1896 Summer Olympics and the 1906 Summer Olympics, both in Athens.

At the Olympics 1896 he was in foil fencing after a 1-3 defeat against Konstantinos Komninos - Miliotis, a 1-3 defeat against Athanasios Vouros and a 1-3 defeat against Eugène -Henri Gravelotte Last in his first round and in the overall classification seventh.

In the interludes 1906 he was in epee fencing for teams with three other fencers fourth after they had lost in the semi-final against the French team 9:11.
