Gerald B. Greenberg

Gerald B. Greenberg ( born July 29, 1936) is an American editor.

Life

Since his debut in the film The average perverted Sherlock Holmes Gerald B. Greenberg can look back on a more than 45 -year career as an editor, in which he cut films like Kramer vs. Kramer, Awakenings, and American History X. Barely five years later he received for his work on French Connection - focus Brooklyn already the Oscar for best film editing. Another nomination should follow in 1980 with the cut at Apocalypse Now. Together with director Brian De Palma connected him briefly a collaboration on several films. So he cut for him not only today's cult films like Scarface and The Untouchables - The Untouchables, but Dressed to Kill and Body Double.
