Gerald " Gerry " Ehrmann ( born February 18, 1959 in Tauberbischofsheim ) is a former German football player at the position of the goalkeeper.

Ehrmann was in his first professional season 1977/78 as a talented young goalkeeper at the 1 FC Cologne under contract as of the 1st FC Cologne 1978 German champion. Until 1984 he was the backup goalie behind the former goalkeeper of the German national Toni Schumacher. Although he could not prevail against the then superior Schumacher, he developed in the daily training at a world-class goalkeeper. During the seven years at FC Cologne 1 Ehrmann came only two Bundesliga inserts.

Only with the change to 1 FC Kaiserslautern 1984, he was goalkeeper in the Bundesliga. The practicing bodybuilder (nicknamed "Tarzan" ) achieved his greatest success in 1991 when he was with the Lauterern German masters. He also won the DFB-Pokal with the Palatines in 1990 and 1996. Although he has been repeatedly displaced as a goalkeeper during his career, he nevertheless remained the declared favorite of the West Lautrer curve. 1993/94 ensured the fans even with that Ehrmann instead of Claus riding Maier goalkeeper was again.
