Gerald Kilmartin

Gerald Walsh Kilmartin (* July 7, 1926 in Providence, Rhode Iceland, † June 17, 1970 ) was an American professional ice hockey player.

Career

Gerald Kilmartin attended Bryant College, for its hockey team he played parallel to his studies. Then he starred alongside his national team career in amateur hockey. Later he worked as a businessman. On 15 June 1970 he was attacked by an unknown assailant and died two days later from his injuries.

Internationally

For the United States took Kilmartin at the Olympic Winter Games 1952 in Oslo in part, in which he won the silver medal with his team. In addition, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in 1947 and 1949. During the 1949 World Cup, he won the bronze medal with the United States.
