Gerald Vanenburg

Gerald Vanenburg (1981 )

Gerald Mervin Vanenburg ( born March 5, 1964 in Utrecht ) is a former Dutch football player and current coach.

He played 42 times for the Dutch national team, with whom he won the 1988 European Championship. He played for Ajax Amsterdam ( until 1986 ), PSV Eindhoven ( 1986-1993 ), Jubilo Iwata (1993-1996), FC Utrecht ( 1997), AS Cannes ( 1997-1998) and the TSV 1860 Munich ( 1998-2000). In the years 1982, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992 he became Dutch champion and in 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990 Dutch Cup winner. In 1988, he was with PSV Eindhoven European Cup Winners ' Cup. In 2001 he was at TSV 1860 Munich for a few weeks Assistant coach Peter Pacult then stepped back from this position but themselves. From April 2004 to June 2004 he was coach of 1860 Munich, but could not prevent relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga.
