Gerana

Gerana (Greek Γεράνα ), sometimes also called Oinoe, is a figure from Greek mythology.

Worshiped as divine by her tribe of pygmies, they despised true goddesses such as Hera and Artemis. As punishment, Hera turned her into a crane. Longing for her son Mopsos, she had her husband Niko Damas born Gerana then flew continuously around the house. The pygmies but they sold; since there is enmity between the Cranes and the Pygmies. Gerana is said to have fathered with her husband and the Tortoise.
