Gérard Herter
Gérard Herter ( Gerhard actually Haertter; born April 12, 1920 in Stuttgart, † February 6, 2007 in Munich) was a German actor.
Herter had worked on stage and in 1959 he started a film career lasting until 1972, which took place almost exclusively in Italy. The edgy and stately looking Herter was suitable for the presentation of German or Austrian officers and noblemen. This role stereotype he could rarely escape in his genre films. He was consequently often seen in war and adventure films and spaghetti westerns.
