Gerardo Galindo

Gerardo Galindo (* May 23, 1978 in Cuernavaca, Morelos ) is a Mexican footballer, whose regular position is in midfield.

Life

Association

Galindo began his professional career in the 1997/98 season for the resident in the Mexican capital Club Universidad Nacional, with whom he won two league titles in 2004: first, the discharged in the first half of Torneo Clausura 2004 and subsequently in the second half of the year Torneo Apertura discharged in 2004.

About the Club Necaxa, in which he stood between mid-2006 and the end of 2008 under contract, he came in early 2009 to the Rayados de Monterrey, with whom he won the Torneo Apertura 2009, and thus was able to record his third championship. In the season 2010/11 he won with his current club Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente the second division championship and managed thus in competition and the return to the Primera División.

National

Between 2000 and 2007, Galindo came to ten international appearances, in which he scored two goals.

His debut in the dress of the Mexican national team celebrated Galindo in a discharged on June 4, 2000 game against Ireland, which ended 2-2. His last international match, he completed on 28 March 2007 in a 4-2 victory against Ecuador.

His two international goals he scored 2005 in the game against Colombia (1-2) and Costa Rica ( 2-0).
