Gerbstedt (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft)

The administrative community Gerbstedt was a local authority in the district of Mansfeld- South Harz. It was founded on 1 January 2005 and included in its resolution the communities

• Freist
• Peace Castle (Saale )
• Friedeburgerhütte with the district Adendorf
• Gerbstedt
• Sacred valley with village and hamlets helmet Lochwitz
• Hübitz
• Ihlewitz
• Rottelsdorf with evil castle district

• Zabenstedt

She had at this composition, an area of ​​102.26 km ² and 8628 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2006). Office of the Management Community was the city Gerbstedt. Last Head of Administration Community was Steven Schulz.

Until 15 June 2009 it included also the communities Burgdorf and Klostermansfeld, which then changed Mansfeld basic Helbra in the administrative community Lutherstadt Eisleben or administrative matters.

On 1 January 2010, the administrative community was disbanded, all municipalities except for Holy Thal, Freist and peace Castle (Saale ) formed the new unit community Gerbstedt.
