Gerburg Jahnke

Gerburg Jahnke ( born January 18, 1955 in Oberhausen- Osterfeld ) is a German cabaret artist and director who was best known for the Kabarettduo Missfits.

Career

She studied art and German in Dusseldorf and Munster. In 1985 she founded with Stephanie Everywhere the Frauenkabarettduo Missfits, which consisted twenty years. During this time it became one of the most famous German cabaret duo. In 2004 she received the award jointly with Stephanie Everywhere citizen of the Ruhr.

2005 separated the Missfits. Some years later Jahnke is present in the cabaret scene of Nordrhein-Westfalen. In 2006, she was seen, among others, Herbert Knebel and Jochen Malmsheimer in the Revue football fever, besides, she was some time to listen to it every Tuesday at the U- point on WDR 2. She moderates the bimonthly broadcast cabaret show Ladies Night and performs regularly with Fritz and Hermann (both broadcasts on WDR television) on.

Since March 2009 Gerburg Jahnke touring among other things, Krissie Illing, Carolin Kebekus, Martina Schwarzmann and Patrizia Moresco under the program Ms. Jahnke invited by Germany.
