Gergely Bobál

Gergely Bobál ( born August 31, 1995 Salgótarján ) is a Hungarian football player at the position of a striker who can also be used as an attacking midfielder. In his age group Bobál is one of the most talented players of his home country. His twin brother David is also very talented football player who has already collected together with his brother experiences in the Hungarian junior national teams, but not like his brother is found in the offensive area, but on the defensive, where he mostly acts as a left-back.

6 May 2012 Google Bobál debuted as one of the youngest players ever in the Nemzeti National Championship, the highest Hungarian Football League, where he just 16 years, eight months and six days at that time was old and previously taken either on the bench of the professional team place, had been involved in some form in the amateur team of the club.

Club career

Career start in Salgótarján and breakthrough in Budapest Honvéd

In December 2010, the brothers of the HAGMAYR Sport Management GmbH has been contracted, the two young players who have already been canvassed at that time by numerous internationally successful top clubs advised by the company or were represented. Gergely Bobáls use statistics from the season 2010/11 clearly shows the scoring prowess of the young forward talent. In a total of 27 games he scored 44 goals and had 25 assists for his teammates. At this performance, he came up in the season 2011/12, where he met 31 times in 28 games and contributed 14 assists. Thanks to its consistently strong offensive performance, Bobál recommended early for the professional team of Honvéd and sat 6 May 2012 a 0-0 home draw against the Kaposvári Rákóczi FC for the first time on the bench of the capital club. After a native of Cameroon striker Herve Tchami chipped and with a yellow card after 21 completed preloaded minutes left the field of play, the young Hungarian exceptional talent was brought into play. Under Attila Supka Bobál played the remaining time through, was itself also a yellow card and was praised after the final whistle of the media for his performance. His real debut for the first team was Gergely Bobál in February 2012, when he was allowed to put his skills to the test in a test match against the Hungarian Erstligakonkurrenten Haladás Szombathely.

In January 2012, Gergely and David Bobál completed a one-week trial with German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg, where they were, however, not included in further consequence. Nevertheless, the Hungarian brother pair of many European top clubs was courted and were already about three months later, the possibility of a further trial with a strong club. Manchester City invited the two talents mid-April on trial; thereby acted both Hungary only in the second team.

His professional debut in the highest Hungarian league remained for the 1.86 m wide striker also the only professional use in the 2011/12 season; more were to follow until the following season. With solid performances in the Academy and the national teams more clubs were aware of the Hungarian striker talent, so among other things, the Italian top club AS Roma, whose leaders Bobál invited in mid-October 2012 for the trial, but finally submitted to him no contract. Due to its resistance in the academy, the young forward talent came in the spring of 2013, again in the professional squad of Honvéd Budapest and was the first time in the second squad combat team of the capital club in action. His debut for Honvéd Budapest II in the subprime Nemzeti National Championship II gave the strong left-footed on March 2, 2013 in a 2-1 home win over Szeged 2011; more inserts in the following weeks later ones. Among them was a gala performance of young Hungarians, when he Újpest Budapest II scored two goals in a 6-1 rout and made the presentation to two other hits. To date (as of 22 May 2013) Gergely Bobál came in eight second-division games to use in which he contributed four goals and three Torlvorlagen. After almost a year followed for the striker to return to the first team, where he came in the 1-0 home win over Ferencvaros Budapest on 16 April 2013 at a short-term use. Other brief appearances he came in the following weeks, taking it to date (as of May 22, 2013 ) applied to five Erstligaauftritte in the season 2012/13. Although its use in the first and second fight team, the Hungarian exceptional talent was still active in the club's own academy, where it could continue to convince them of his offensive strength. To date (as of 22 May 2013) Bobál can boast 13 goals and nine assists in 16 league games completed.

National team career

First experience in a Hungarian national selection Gergely Bobál collected in the U-15 national team, for whom he ran aground five times and scored just as many hits. Among numerous other missions Bobál came for the U-16 selection Hungary, where he also took part in a tournament in Israel in addition to various friendly international matches. In his missions, he graduated between 2010 and 2011, he came to a balance of five goals from ten different missions. Since 2011, he is, like his brother, who also accompanied him through the other teams, the squad of the Hungarian U-17 national team. With the team of left-footed participated in the qualification for the U-17 European Championship 2012, and recorded in the three group matches in the first qualifying round against the age counterparts from Belarus, Norway and Andorra four goals and was there at least once successful in every encounter. During his time in the Hungarian U-17 National Team Gergely Bobál scored a total of 13 goals in eleven U-17 internationals. By 2012, the young striker was included in the squad of the Hungarian U -18, where he so far (as of May 22, 2013 ) met four times in nine internationals. Furthermore Bobál graduated in 2012 a commitment to the U-19 national team of his native country, where he played through in a 3-0 win over Andorra on November 4, 2012, but remained scoreless.
