Gergely Harsányi

János Gergely Harsanyi [ ɡɛrɡɛj yes ː ː noʃ hɒrʃa ɲi ] (born 3 May 1981 in Nyíregyháza / Hungary) is a Hungarian handball player at the position of right winger.

He stood in the 2007/ 08 season for a year at the Bundesliga Frisch Auf Göppingen under contract before he returned to his previous club, the Hungarian giants PLER KC -Airport Budapest, returned.

At the World Cup in Germany in 2007, he belonged to the extended squad of the Hungarian national team. When Handball tournament at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he was with the Hungarian team fourth. Overall Harsanyi played 148 times for the national team, scoring 308 goals. In the summer of 2012, he again took part in the Olympic Games in London.
