Gerhard Kleinmagd

Gerhard Kleinmagd ( born November 7, 1937 in Hamburg, † November 17, 2010 ) was a politician of the CDU Hamburg (later the SPD) and member of the Hamburg Parliament.

Life and Politics

Kleinmagd was a trained retail salesman and business administration. At the beginning of the 90s he was an independent baker and owner of Brezelbäckerei Blasius Kleinmagd.

He was represented from June 1982 to January 1983 and from April 1983 to 1993 for the CDU in Hamburg Parliament. There he was responsible for the CDU faction among others in the input committee, the Committee on the port, industry and agriculture as well as in the Committee on the situation and the rights of foreigners. He later moved the parties and went to the Social Democrats. He sat until 2008 for the SPD in the District Assembly in Hamburg -Eimsbuettel.
