Gerhard Prinzing

Gerhard Prinzing ( born April 22, 1943 in Kranzegg ) is a former German ski racer and Olympic athletes. His sister Christa Prinzing was also alpine ski racer. Both started for the Ski Club Mountain Rescue.

Prinzing began his international career in 1961. He was a participant at the Alpine World Skiing Championships in 1966 in the Chilean Portillo. He was also at the 1968 Olympic Winter Games in Grenoble at the start. There he placed himself in the downhill on the seventh rank and thus scored his internationally most significant result; in the giant slalom, he left. In the same year he was German champion in the combination. Prinzing was also in his career, seven German vice-champion. He finished his career in 1971. Prinzing today operates in a ski resort Kranzegg ski lifts in conjunction with a ski school.
