Gerhard Rodax

Gerhard Rodax ( born August 29, 1965 in Tattendorf, Lower Austria ) is a former Austrian football player.

Gerhard Rodax began in 1983 his professional career at Admira Wacker. In 1990 he moved to Atlético Madrid, where he was on the side of the German Bernd Schuster and the Portuguese Paulo Futre under coach Tomislav Ivić runner-up, but returned back to Austria in 1991 and played until his retirement in late 1993 at SK Rapid Wien. Since then, he runs a sports facility in Traiskirchen. In 1996, he launched a comeback with Admira Wacker and reached the FA Cup final with the team.

With the Austrian national team, he completed 20 international matches and scored three goals, one of them during his two matches for the Football World Cup 1990 in Italy.
