German Future Prize

The German Future Prize is an award for excellence in the arts, economics, technology, engineering or natural sciences. Application and market ability and job creation are thereby considered as well as excellence in innovation.

The prize is awarded by the President and is endowed with 250,000 euros. It is awarded annually since 1997.
