German Skurygin
German Anatoljevich Skurygin (Russian Герман Анатольевич Скурыгин; born September 15, 1963 in Wutno, Udmurtia, † 28 November, 2008 Izhevsk ) was a Russian athlete who specialized discipline was walking.
Sporting successes
Skurygin won the silver medal at the World Athletics Championships 2003 in competition over 50 km of walking in a national record time of 3:36:42 h Skurygin had to deal only the world record ( 3:36:03 h) defeated Robert Korzeniowski Poland continuous.
Doping test
Skurygin crossed at the World Athletics Championships in 1999 as the finish line first about 50 km, but was subsequently transferred to the doping with gonadotropin and banned for two years. The title was awarded Ivano Brugnetti.
