The German Wachtelhund is a by the Fédération Internationale Cynologique (FCI) (No. 104, Gr. 8, sec 2) recognized German dog breed. The AKC leads the race in view of a possible recognition since October 10, 2011 in its Foundation Stock Service.

Origin and History

The breed name and the type of dog can be demonstrated in the literature over the centuries. Since 1903, the German Spaniel is bred as a dog breed with proven descent in pure culture. Description
