Germania Breslau

The Sports Club Germania Germania 1904 or shortly Breslau was a German football club based in Wroclaw.

History

The club was founded in 1904 and chose red and white at his club colors. Shortly after its inception, the club was one of the leading clubs in the Southeast German Football Association. In the 1910/11 season the team just missed the jump in the final round of the German soccer championship. After victories over SC Germania Katowice and the German SV Germania Poznan Wroclaw was in the final of the regional championship, which was then held in seven regions. The first final match took place on 14 April 1911 in Forst against FC Askania forest instead. After the 2:3 defeat Wroclaw protested successfully, but also lost the replay on April 16 in Cottbus clearly with 0:3. The following season, the SC Germania came after victories against SC Diana Katowice and again the German SV poses again the finals off the southern German regional championship before. But this time it was not enough to win the title. With 1:5 the game for Germania Wroclaw against the ATV Liegnitz was lost.

1945, the club was disbanded.

The SC Germania Wroclaw played in the sports field of the Breslau district of Green Oak ( today Dabie ).
