Germany Fed Cup team

The German Fed Cup team is the national team of Germany Tennis, which is used in the Fed Cup. The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup ) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, similar to the Davis Cup for the men.

History

The German Fed Cup team was in the final six times and won twice (1987 and 1992 ) the title. It is one of the established teams in the World Group, the top division. As of 2005, the team developed to lift the team. In any descent of the immediate re-emergence or to the rise of immediate re- descent followed. 2013 Porsche plays the Fed Cup team Germany in the second division, the World Group II, along with seven other teams to the re-emergence into the world group.
