Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995

In 1995 there were 1993 and 1994, as no German preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest under its own television show. The MDR was looking for the German contribution again internally. The choice fell on the producer and musician couple Glen & Cheyenne Stone, who with I Wish You Were Here had as Stone & Stone in the summer of 1993, a top 40 success in Germany. The title In love with you was composed by the artist himself and has been produced and also the first title of the religious couple in German language.

Unlike in the two previous years, when the German representatives Münchener Freiheit and Mekado in the MDR- entertainment shows My Show and The Golden One occurred, the German Post was not introduced to television viewers in the run-up to the international competition.

Stone & Stone joined the Euro Vision Song Contest 1995 to be third parties of 23 participants. They were given only one point from Malta and thus occupied the last place.
