Gero Bisanz
Gero Bisanz ( born November 3, 1935 in paddock at base Goßlershausen, West Prussia, today Konojady at Jabłonowo Pomorskie, Poland ) is a German football coach and former football player.
Life
In his playing days, he played for FC Cologne and SC 1 Viktoria Köln. While he was only a little at FC used, he was for a long time at Victoria regulars. In total he played 74 league games and also stood for the Victoria 148 times in the Regionalliga on the court.
From 1959 to 1968 Bisanz worked as a qualified sports teacher at the Otto -Kühne -Schule in Bad Godesberg, until he had to give up on high stretching your second job due to a serious accident. In the 1970s he coached Bayer 04 Leverkusen and TuS Lindlar and the amateurs of the 1st FC Cologne.
He coached from 1982 to 1996 the German national football team won the women and with the national team in 1989, 1991 and 1995, the UEFA European Football Championship.
In addition, Bisanz headed from 1971 to 2000 for the DFB coach education for soccer coaches, before he was replaced by Erich Rutemöller.
Gero Bisanz is a member of the Board of Trustees of the youth football foundation. It was founded in 2000 by Bisanz, Jürgen Klinsmann, another successful national team as well as the faculty of Fußballlehrer special course.
Bisanz is married and has a daughter, Meike Bisanz who is a former Profibasketballerin. He lives with his family in Overath near Cologne.
