Gero von Boehm
Biography
Boehm grew up in Heidelberg and studied law and social sciences at the University of Heidelberg and New York. At the age of 20 years, he wrote for the weekly newspaper Die Zeit and other publications. Later he worked for the WDR radio, the SWF and the Germany radio. His first documentary for television, he turned in 1975. In 1978, Boehm founded the production company interscience movie with his wife Christiane, who is responsible for finance, production and management.
In addition to his television productions Boehm interviewed from 1980 to 1990 -known personalities in the series altercation at Southwest Broadcasting. On 3sat he produced from 2002 to 2010, the interview series Gero von Boehm met .... In 2011 he founded the production company LUPA film for development and production of fictional materials for television and cinema.
He has three children and lives in Berlin and France.
