Gerold Huber

Gerold Huber (born 1969 in Straubing ) is a German pianist.

Huber studied on a scholarship at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich piano with Friedemann Berger, Helmut German Lied and attended the class song by Dietrich Fischer- Dieskau in Berlin.

With the baritone Christian Gerhaher it makes for some years a solid song duo. In addition to Christian Gerhaher he accompanied among others Ruth Ziesak, Franz- Josef Selig, Bernarda Fink, Cornelia Kallisch, Mojca Erdmann, Diana Damrau and Maximilian Schmitt. He is also a pianist, founded in 2002 " Liedertafel " consisting of James Taylor, Christian Elsner, Michael Volle and Franz -Josef Selig and met up with the Artemis Quartet.
