Gerosa

Gerosa is a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy with 380 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012).

Geography

Gerosa located 20 km north- west of the provincial capital city of Bergamo and 50 km northeast of the city of Milan.

The neighboring municipalities are Blello, Brembilla, Corna Imagna Fuipiano Imagna, San Giovanni Bianco, San Pellegrino Terme and Taleggio.

Attractions

• The parish church of Santa Croce was built in the 18th century. The church stands in place of a former place of worship from the 15th century. It is decorated in the style of the late Baroque.

• The Church of Assumption of Mary dates from the 14th century and was built in Romanesque style.
