Yesterday was today tomorrow is the second best-of album of the German rock band Böhse Onkelz. It was released on 5 March 2001 on the band's own label Rule23 Recordings. The compilation contains the three CDs Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. The naming of the collection goes back to the same song, the first time in 1992 on the album Heilige Lieder appeared. The three CDs are a total of 47 songs.

Cover design

The cover is black, is in the middle of an icon on the top of the typical font Böhse Onkelz and in the middle of the abbreviation of BO is. At the bottom of the symbol is a "20 years Onkelz " emblem. This emblem was placed in the first edition of the box and rarely correct. Mostly it askew, so it was printed from the second edition.

The title was originally intended only as an accessory for the tickets in CD form, there was the Tour 1998. In this version, Stephan announced at the beginning of the play nor the new tour, then began the title. At first the song was still nameless, later it was Tioz on the single release from the album Viva los published in 1998, turpentine, titled as " 11/97 ". The title refers most probably to the time of origin of the piece, which must probably have been in this case in November 1997. This single release also stood in the booklet "Text: Stephan Weidner ," which later became known as an error of graphic designers, because the piece is an instrumental and thus contains no text at all.
