Geyserville is located 33 km north of Santa Rosa in Sonoma County in the United States and was founded in 1847 as a beach resort in a nearby geyser.

The community opened up the surrounding hot springs, which was the main reason for the economic upswing of the town. The Pacific Gas power plant produces up to 1.2 million kWh annually.
