Gholam Hossein Banan

Gholam -Hossein Banan (Persian غلامحسين بنان; MAY 1911 in Amol, † February 27, 1986 in Gholhak, Tehran ) was an Iranian musician and singer.

Life

Gholam -Hossein Banan was born in May 1911 in Gholhak in the north of Tehran. His father, Karim Khān Banan ol Douleh Nuri ( كريم خان بنان الدوله نوري ) was a musician and calligrapher. His mother, daughter of Mohammad Taqi Mirza Rokn ed Dowleh ( محمد تقي ميرزا ​​ركن الدوله ), a son of Mohammed Shah and brother of Naser al -Din Shah. was a talented pianist. A brother and two sisters of Gholam -Hossein played Tar They received their training from Morteza Neydāvood ( مرتضي ني داود ), one of the most famous musicians of his time.

Gholam -Hossein was initially taught by his parents. From the age of six he began formal musical training. Gholam -Hossein took her by Morteza Neydāvood lessons in singing, piano and organ, the early recognized his talent and encouraged. Other teachers of Gholam -Hossein Banan were Mirza Tahir Zia oz Zākerin Rasā'í ( ميرزا ​​طاهر ضياء ذاكرين رثايي ), Naser Seif ( ناصر سيف ), Ali Naghi Vaziri and Rouhollah Khaleghi.

In 1942, Gholam -Hossein Banan joined the National Iranian musicians union. Starting this year, his voice was also heard on the Iranian radio. Gholam -Hossein Banan was a member of the orchestra of Javad Maroufi, where he held the position of the first singer.

Gholam -Hossein Banan 1957 went blind in one eye due to a car accident.

Gholam -Hossein Banan died on 27 February 1986 Iran More Hospital in Ghohak, Tehran. His recordings are still very popular, the songs Ey Iran, Caravan and Elahe -ye Naz are legendary.

Gholam -Hossein Banan is buried in the cemetery Imamzadeh Taher in Karaj. In this cemetery many artists, musicians, writers, philosophers and famous people of the Iranian cultural life were buried. In recent years, the grave of Ahmad Shamlu plates, Amir Naser, Eftetah Parviz Yahaghi were smashed. In early May 2010, the grave of Gholam -Hossein Banan was desecrated.
