Ghoti is a fictional word in the English language. The invention is the Irish writer George Bernard Shaw attributed. The word is the lack of logic of the English written language, or their mutilated phoneme - grapheme correspondence satirize, because it is logically justified, " Ghoti " like the English word " fish" [ fɪʃ ]: pronounce (Eng.
