Giacomo Losi

Giacomo Losi ( born September 10, 1935 in Soncino, Italy ) is an Italian former football player and coach. As a player he played exclusively for AS Roma and is a total of 450 games at second place in the club rankings with most inserts.

Career

Losi completed his fourteen- year professional career with AS Roma and debuted on March 20, 1955 during match against Inter Milan. During this time he played a total of 450 times and thus is in the club rankings with most inserts behind Francesco Totti second place. He was considered one of fairest player because he only got a yellow card in his entire career.

On March 13, 1960, he celebrated his debut for the Italian national football team in a friendly against Spain, which was lost with 1:3. He also was in the squad for the FIFA World Cup 1962, where he played two of three games. Italy but was eliminated already in the group stage. Overall, he played eleven times for the national team.
